What do I actually get with Pro?

Two things, today: your exported MP4s have no 'Made with YoRecord' watermark, and they export at full 1080p instead of the 720p free cap. That's the honest list - we'd rather ship two real upgrades than promise a page of features that aren't built yet.

How does Pro activate? Do I need an account?

No account. After you pay through our checkout, Polar emails you a license key. Paste it into 'Activate your key' and it's stored in that browser - Pro works offline from then on. A key unlocks the browsers you paste it into.

What happens to the free tier?

It stays free, forever. Recording, editing, subtitles, and MP4 export remain free. Pro just removes the watermark and lifts the resolution cap; it doesn't take anything away.

How long do free share links last?

Free share links stay up for 14 days. Pin one and it lasts 50 days. Your recording also stays in your browser's local library the whole time.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, in one click, from the receipt Polar emails you. Billing and refunds are handled by Polar as the merchant of record.
